Old Testament
Isaiah reaches the suffering Servant: despised, rejected, wounded for our transgressions, bearing the sin of many, yet ultimately vindicated by God.
New Testament
Paul calls believers to imitate God, walk in love and light, live wisely, be filled with the Spirit, and let marriage reflect Christ's faithful love for His church.
Psalm
The suffering worshiper is mocked and afflicted yet continues to praise God and trust His salvation.
Proverb
Wisdom is beyond the fool who refuses to receive it.
Discover
Here September stands at the foot of the cross. Isaiah's Servant bears what belongs to us. Jesus loves His church and gives Himself for her. Our salvation rests on His sacrifice, not ours.
Reflect
What does it mean personally that Jesus bore sin He did not commit?
Fellowship
How should Christ's self-giving love reshape our homes and relationships?
Prayer
Lord Jesus, thank You for being wounded for sinners and giving Yourself in love. Make my life a grateful response. Amen.
Live
Thank Jesus specifically for the cross, then love someone sacrificially today.
