Day 46 · February 15
A devotional for today
Today’s readings
- Old Testament: EXODUS 39:1-40:38
- New Testament: MARK 1:1-28
- Psalm: PSALM 35:1-16
- Proverb: PROVERBS 9:11-12
Discover
Exodus ends with God's glory filling the Tabernacle. Then Mark begins by announcing Jesus Christ, the Son of God. The connection is powerful. God desired to dwell among His people. In Jesus, God comes even closer. Jesus doesn't simply point toward God's presence. He brings God's presence to us. And His invitation is beautifully simple: “Follow me.”
Reflect
1. What does God's desire to dwell with His people teach me about Him? 2. What might Jesus be asking me to leave behind and trust Him with? 3. Am I following Jesus - or merely learning about Him?
Fellowship
Ask one another: What does following Jesus look like in everyday life?
Share one victory and one struggle from your walk with Jesus this week. Listen without judging. Encourage one another. Pray for one another.
We were never meant to follow Jesus alone.
Prayer
Father, thank You for coming near. Jesus, help us follow You faithfully. Holy Spirit, guide our steps and help our lives reflect Christ. Amen.
